These boys have been bred by Wilhelm and Helga Schlabes,
Kennel Midlands Corner, Germany.
The pups are now six weeks old. Their pedigree is below.

Riley won Post Graduate Dog at Birmingham Championship Show today (judge: Sue Nicholls-Ward, Bumbleridge Beardies). Well done Debs (Gildenmede) and Riley.
Well done also to Fraser, Diotima's Heart And Soul, (two photos below) who won Graduate Dog and the KC Good Citizen Class also at Birmingham. Fraser also has the KC Good Citizen Gold Award, not only is he very handsome, he is also clever! Fraser is owned by Sheila and Pete Holder and was handled as usual by Sheila. Riley and Fraser are litter brothers and their litter sister is Zeeva, Diotima's Heart Of Gold.

Today Kiri competed near Belbroughton which is near where we live so we went along to cheer her and Tami on. Kiri went clear in both her jumping and agility competitions in the morning then did an incredible round in the afternoon in the Grade 1 - 3 Agility leading the competition for much of the time eventually being placed 2nd. There were 79 in the class (Tami says that's a small class!!!). Wow. Brilliant.

Diotima It's A Wrap At Brenriga

Kiri and Tami (pictured above) have recently spent a week at the
Dogs In Need Agility Competition. Kiri did two runs a day;
one jumping and one agility, eight runs in total. Kiri achieved six clear
rounds, going clear in each of her four agility runs,
and was placed 20th and 16th in two of the Grade One and Two agility competitions.
Her consistency of clear runs and the two placings gained
her a place in the Finals at the end of the week, only
thirty dogs achieving this honour. Tami's not sure how many dogs competed overall
but knows that one of the agility classes had an entry of 230!!!
Kiri then excelled herself by going clear in the Finals,
completing a marvellous week and making this event one to remember for Tami.
Kiri has only been competing in agility for one season and her
success has been remarkable. Well done team!!

Zeeva won Winners Bitch and Award Of Merit No. 1 at the Bearded Collie Club Of Canada's National Specialty held on 11th and 12th August. The Judge was David Hyde, Natterjack Bearded Collies and Zeeva was expertly handled by Graeme Burdon. Congratulations to Zeeva's mum and dad, Patricia and Richard McDonald of Chelsic Beardies.

Riley, handled as always by mum Debbie Glasspool, Gildenmede Beardies, won his class at Paignton under judge Suzanne Moorhouse (Willowmead). The day before he won his class at the Midshires Bearded Collie Club's Championship Show under judge Caroline Nicholson (Shilstone).

Today Kiri got her first placement in agility competition. There were 133 dogs in her class, only 17 achieved clear rounds and Kiri was 8th!!!!!!!!!!! Well done to Kiri - Diotima It's A Wrap at Brenriga - and mum Tami. They are such a team. We are very proud of you.
The boys did us proud today at Blackpool Championship Show. Fraser - Diotima's Heart And Soul - owned by Sheila and Pete Holder was 2nd in Post Graduate Dog and Riley - Diotima From The Heart For Gildenmede - owned by Debbie Glasspool (Gildenmede) was third. These lovely boys are litter mates. Mum is Am & UK Ch Diotima Always On My Mind and dad is Ramsgrove Rumba.

Diotima It's A Wrap at Brenriga owned and loved by Tami Nunley (Brenriga) is now competing in agility. She has been to four shows achieving a clear round every time and at one show being in the first 20 places until the last few rounds eventually ending up just outside the top 20 in a class of over 200 dogs. She has also completed some very good jumping rounds. Kiri and Tami are loving every minute and we are very proud of this extremely talented partnership. Go Kiri!!

He also won Open Dog at the National Capital Bearded Collie Club's Regional Specialty under Breed Specialist Robert Ballantyne (Bustroc). Well done Scrum, we're proud of you!

14 years old today! We salute our lovely birthday girl who delights us every day with her sweet character and funny ways. She is very pleased with her new toy - a very smart blue fire hydrant which giggles - and the special birthday card from Sue, Tony and Betty. This is her Official Birthday Portrait. Miss PeeWee will be spending the day quietly with her friends having already enjoyed a special breakfast of fish and chips. She plans a leisurely stroll this afternoon, weather permitting.

"Kiri" and Tami have recently taken up agility and are proving to be a formidable team.
In their first competition, Kiri placed 25th out of 113 and achieved a clear round.
On Saturday at her second competition, Kiri had three clear rounds.

Last year Boston was Best Dog under Gill Burfitt (Breaksea) and in 2007 Boston won Best Puppy In Show under Johan Andersson (Alistairs).
